#MyStyleWEM Contest Announcement!

Are you a teenager who enjoys getting dressed, has great style and loves the camera? Well you could be part of a West Edmonton Mall campaign seen throughout the city! If you're a student, WEM wants you to show them your style by sharing a pic, collage, video or Flipgram on Instagram or Twitter using the hashtag #MyStyleWEM, or click here to upload your photo on Facebook. In addition to modeling in a photo shoot, winners will also receive an outfit and accessories from their favorite retailers! Teens can enter into the contest until June 24th, 2015. Click here for contest rules and regulations.

Last year's contest was a great success and I'm happy to announce that this year I will be the Official Style Consultant for the 2015 campaign and can't wait to work with the lucky winners! Good luck everyone!

Drastic Measures

After a tough few months, I thought I needed a change - a fresh start - so on a whim I had my hair stylist at Ponytails + Horsehoes cut 6" off my locks and it feels sooooo good! I also went a little bit lighter for the summer. My hair hasn't been this short since 2008. It was about time! Now I just have to figure out how to style it ; ).

Blue On Blue On Blue

I'm all for comfortable outfits these days! To be honest with you if I had a choice between wearing a girly dress and  high heels or non-tight pants, a comfy tee and flats, I'd pick the latter, hands down. I like wearing outfits I can breathe in and wear the whole day, like this one I wore on the weekend.

Blend & Boost Personalized Skincare

A couple of months ago I was asked to attend an info session at Dr. Neeraj Bector’s aesthetic clinic in
West Edmonton Mall about a new, customized skincare line called Blend & Boost by Medisca. You all know how much I love talking about skincare and how important it is to me, especially now that I’m in my thirties so of course I had to attend!

Les Fleurs

"Florals? For spring? Groundbreaking." - Meryl Streep's character Miranda Priestly in one of my all-time favorite films 'The Devil Wears Prada." (She was AMAZING in it! Love her.) But it's true, come springtime you see printed flowers on clothing in almost every store! And I will gladly wear said clothing, whether it's a tired seasonal trend or not ; ).
